Susan B and Cynthia C presented a variety of bubbles to the usual suspects.
Australian sparkling whites, Spanish Cava, Italian Proseccos, and a non-alcoholic sparkling white all had to be matched to the description presented by Cynthia’s PowerPoint. Everyone picked the non-alcoholic sparkling (of course) but Pam G matched every glass to its taste. A fine palette indeed.
The group was then rewarded with Maryln Monroe’s favourite tipple (or bathing companion) Piper-Heidsieck champagne which was enjoyed accompanied by some rousing drinking songs.
Pizzas were ordered and enjoyed along with some delicious red wine which mysteriously arrived. Another fine wine tasting evening.
