Puffing Billy has been modernised with a superb museum/pavilion/dining room at Lakeside (below). We'll get to Belgrave Station via suburban rail (Belgrave line), 1 hour 20min trip to arrive Belgrave 10.10am. Or use car. We'll catch the 11am Puffing Billy to Lakeside and either lunch there or byo lunch. We'll depart Lakeside 1.45pm and be back at Belgrave 2.35pm ready to get train back to city, arriving around 4pm.
