On Thursday April 17 at 11am we’re touring VicPol’s Police Museum at 313 Spencer St., Docklands. Admission is free, friends are welcome. Optional lunch afterwards.
The museum was upgraded 18 months ago and now includes never-before-displayed items on loan from specialist squads like drugs, armed robbery, forensics, high-tech, and animal handlers. We’ll learn about Victoria’s criminals from the recent and distant past, going back to the largest collection of Kelly items in Australia. (For the faint of heart, there are prominent trigger warnings).
Please confirm your attendance via the club email sent on March 4th , or direct from the Events list on the website. (If our numbers are large we need to notify VicPol).
Update: We have more than 20 now registered and thankfully, Police Museum is able to cope happily with our numbers.
