The club is planning a trip to Adelaide for October 2021.
Like our Bright visit earlier this year the daily agenda is loose, but members will socialise regularly over meals or other activities.
Members are to book their own air fares - current (May 2021) return tickets seem to be about $350, but of course jump around. Book early.
We have looked at three central Adelaide hotels, Rivera, Sage and Grosvenor, at $270-300 per night per room when we inquired last month. Maybe share a room?

Arts oriented suggestions - only one is pricey.
1. The main galleries and museums
2. Numerous specialist venues eg Mary McKillop Museum, Ayers House Mansion, Spinners and Weavers Guild.
3. Special trip to Hans and Nora Heysen's home "The Cedars" and studios at Hahndorf (about $150)
4. Carrick Hill, the previous home of Sir Edward and Lady Ursula Hayward; internationally significant art collections; original stables; on 40 hectares and native bushland. Pic of mansion below.
General suggestions
1. Guided walking tour of Adelaide CBD ($30)
2. Donald Bradman Collection during guided tour at Adelaide Oval (pic below)
2. Botanic Garden(s)
3. Day trips to Barossa, McLaren Vale, Victor Harbor, or Adelaide Hills (each about $150).
4. Free time for shopping and Adelaide's eye-popping night life and dining out.
5. Tram trip to Glenelg (pic below)
