Bearbrass AW Art Appreciation - February

This month’s exploration will be based at Federation Square, where we will visit both the Ian Potter Centre and the Koorie Heritage Trust at the Birrarung Building.

Showcasing more than 130 vibrant art works of Indigenous and Torres Straight Islanders aged from 17 years. The exhibition includes paintings, sculptures and digital works highlighting the strength, talent, creativity of First Peoples’ artists across Victoria and Torres Strait Island. 

Running alongside, the flagship exhibition, the 8^th Koorie Art Show Young Mob celebrates the emerging talent of creatives aged 5 to 16 years is also presented. Young Mob celebrates imagination, identity and cultural pride through the eyes of the next generation.
