Stephen will provide insights into numerous aspects of everydat life in Japan that most tourists wouldn't be breifed on before their departure from home and might not encounter on their trip. For instance, how many tourists sty in a love hotel? Purchase underwear from a vending machine? Or know the procedure for taking a bath in a hot spring (onsen) or pubic wash-house (sento)? What about those long fish shped flags (koi no bori) whci fly from late April into early May - what do they mean?

Stephen will touch on all these and more in what promises to be a quite fascinating. He has a deep well of experience from which to draw, having lived in Japan for nine years - run two businesses, married and raised a family as well as travelling extesively.
