This month we are back into our regular meeting venue in the Performance Space at the Library at the Dock, starting at 10.15am.

Our speaker will be Norm Boreham, President ot the Alma Doepel Restoration Project.  We took a Bearbrass party through the restoration shed in late July and it was fascinating to see the 110 year old ship being reworked and re-assembled. The job is in the hands of skilled and experienced professional shipwrights. The ship has to be rebuilt to stringent modern safety standards, fit for its future role of youth work.
