The drizzly skies turned kind for  22 of our members   during their picnic at Point Park, Docklands recently. At first it looked like death by drizzle and we were within minutes of taking the cowards' way out and transferring it to the nearby apartment of Coral-Lee and Russell.  But by 12.30 skies were clearing, the air was balmy  and park, trees and river were all looking their best. We collared three big tables and two were quickly festooned with our gourmet dishes that the group quickly reduced to remnants. We chatted for close to three hours and departed with thanks to our organiser-hosts.
