On Friday 21st October, a group of 13 members met at Frankston station to tour the street art of Frankston. Shery T, our organiser ‘extraordinaire’, ensured we started the day with our preferred coffee order from the very genial library café.  (Special thanks to Jan S for the home made banana bread.) Following refreshments we had a lovely hour or two wandering around the streets and back lanes of Frankston checking out the amazing range of art works. Our guide Sheryl ensured we had great information on the art works and their locations. The variations in location, size and proportion of the pieces meant that there was plenty to discuss and, that there was something to please even the most discerning art critic. Walkers finished up the Crafty Squire pub on the river for fine lunch. A great day of art, exercise, culture and socialising – who could ask for more?
